tadi i had lisan untuk exam. dah la kena like speak spontaneously. mau mampus ka. i cannot create bm sentences properly. malu seyh. i feel like a malay traitor. hahahaha. dah la my marks kena potong because i created my own malay word - "kualifikasi"... it's supposed to be kelayakan right? (like kelayakan akademik instead of kualifikasi... bodoh sungguh!)

thats bloody funny sarah! I dunno. I have no problem with malay literature. tapi kekadang diorang suka macam... over-describe. Like, one page je boleh full dengan "angin menghembus ke muka ku... burung berkicau-kicauan..." tak ke bosan tu. But my fav Malay literature is actually from Indonesia. A book called "salah asohan". it's a 70s book I think. but very cool.

you must read Siti Nurbaya (Marah Roesli) too I used to have some assignment about Sastra at Junior High and it was quite fun.
oh god no, sarah. I don't take malay literature. it's a must that we learn sastera now in msia. one thing i like bout malay literature is their epic stories though - puteri gunung ledang, the story behind the song ulek mayang etc. it's all so haunting. haha.
