with a 4/3/3 how would we set up?

Tevez/Vucinic/Nani
Marchisio/Pirlo/Vidal
Chellini/Bonucci/Barz/Litch ??

What happens to Asamoah? bench?
I would guess we would play him up top wide right? if not you lose one of our mids Marchisio or Vidal as well as Asamoah...

I agree , a player like this we should not pass on if we have the change to get him, especially now before the CL and not in January!
Nani as RW. 4-3-3 is not going to be the main formation, but we will be able to switch between 3-5-2 and 4-3-3. More flexibility and will help to adapt against different opposition tactics. Conte did switch between formations in the first season when Pepe played as RW. Last season we did not have no RW and 4-3-3 was not at all used.

Asamoah should always be on the bench.

However, in your above formation, why would you take your best Cb and play him at left? That's like Bayern playing Boateng our right, or Dante out left. Who is your normal LB?

You would sit either Barza or Bonucci. Also, take Vucinic out and play Llorente there, or put Tevez in the cneter and Pogba out left.

For other formation it does make sense. But would he sit on the bench, would Juve buy him for that? But even if he plays, we should put Asamoah on the bench? Don't get me wrong, I love Nani, I just don't see it happening.
Yeah chances are low I agree.

As I was replying to DIECI I think it will give us more tactical flexibility and if Nani clicks as RW we would see 4-3-3 pretty often. I don't think it'll be one fixed formation and Asamoah will also get pretty good game time.

Asamoah as CM is also a possibility in 4-3-3

The best players should play, so you should sit Vucinic, I think.
Nani is a winger, Vucinic plays SS, if you sit Vucinic whats your attack formation with Nani?

Tevez/??/Nani . Doens't make sense to sit Vucinic with Nani in, you would need to sit one of our Mids, Vidal/Asamoah/or Marchisio.

This! + rep.

People afraid of benching someone from starting 11 are not serious. Is that even a problem? Someone will have to sit on the bench if Nani becomes more useful. Many here had no problem with benching Marchisio, Llorente is a bench player too so far. Same about Ogbonna.

Seriously a little more competition to Asamoah or Vucinic won't hurt us.

Ljajic is going to Roma, so Milan will be forced getting Matri in our terms (~12m).

Nani would be an awesome purchase by Marotta for that rumored 13m fee.
26 years old LW/RW who have 66 international caps. He is an assisting machine, assisted 44 goals in the last 4 Premier League seasons.

We will kill two birds with one stone.

4-3-3 would show the best of Licht as RB, Nani as RW, Tevez as a LW who cuts inside, and Llorente as CF.
Not to mention the stronger depth for rotation (Caceres, Ogbonna, Marchisio, Asa, Gio and Vuci).

Luis Nani to Juventus, not a utopia. In England continue to approach the Portuguese to Juventus, but the Bianconeri currently focused on outputs and there is feeling. The player, among other things, like David Moyes and are currently negotiating to renew the contract when it expires in 2014. If this understanding between management and the outside of Manchester United, however, should not be found, Juventus would think. A shot like Llorente and Pogba, to be concluded on a free transfer. Juventus observes.

Selling Matri and replacing him with Nani is a no-brainer.

We'd be able to play any formation. Also we could try a 3-4-2-1 when trailing or pressing teams.

Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini
Lichtsteiner-Vidal-Pogba-Asamoah
Tevez--------Nani
Llorente

All you're doing is taking the 3-5-2 and subtracting the regista in favour of a second striker/winger really. Bonucci could handle the ball mostly like he does now but we'd be much more unpredictable in our movements with Tevez and Nani able to drift central to receive ground balls or to drift in behind the defense or to the corners.

I really really like Nani because he can play any style. He is great on counters because of pace but he's a rare player that can actually slow down around the box and provide intelligent passes and create combinations which is essential in Serie A.

If anything we should just switch to a back four. That line up is good but I dont think itd work. Also Marchisio would probably be in there and I dont see Conte dropping Pirlo

Yes, I'd rather a back 4 at this point but if Conte likes the back 3 + Licht and Asamoah then he can use something like a 3-4-2-1. Because I agree that he is obsessed with this back 3 now.
