Congrats man. Keep building that knowledge base. Definitely this gives your CV a boost but this is a specialisation although loads of companies use fortigate.
I must confess their VPN client is such a shit show on the administration side.

Congrats. I'm not familiar with those and what it opens up as possibilities, especially since its not my field, but doing a Fortinet certification is useful. I read its valid for two years, so have that in mind.
thx.
it's a local certificate not international.

I personally for VPN client usually use Pfsense (L2TP) as vpn server for accessing internet to clients. for site to site, openvpn is my first choice and pfsense as vpn server and in most case mikrotik as client side. but IPSec is the best of the options, for site to site even if the ISP block UDP 500, In which they dont.

It's better that you understand the fundamentals which I think you do as switching from one vendor to another is common in companies.
Another thing and am not sure you are looking into this but IAM (identify and access) management is huge.

I configured Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and PAM for my own clients. The daily issue faced is accountability, auditability, and who has access to what, or more importantly; who should have access, and when. Securing access with processes and checkpoints, and locking down sensitive systems and data. Covering both permanent employees and contract staff.

That's really cool. I get the sense that you do a lot of on premises stuff. Have you ever used Okta? https://www.okta.com/uk/resources/d...mRu-Toail4GxUvdzE6lHQ5KJGiNXTpZsaAmiFEALw_wcB

Does anyone have experience working as Influencer?
I recently registered in an Irani platform which enable you to get job and work remotely. I know it's not sustainable, but there are very few job offers for network administrator and for someone who has expertise and experience with network devices. most available jobs are for programming. web developers, Full Stack developer , Wordpress(design), UI & UX, Java, Php, Laravel and etc...

Does anyone have info on SANS courses?
For 2023 I need to knock out CCNP, Anisable and start on a SANS 560. I actually want to pursue my career in Security Field. As i know, Linux administration as the basics. Followed by Security+ and CEH(to me it's Beginner technical level) which are both entry level certifications. There are some courses such as CEH, SANS, OSCP and CISSP. I just don't want waste my time and enter to a Beginner technical and also theoretical approach, with limited hands-on labs).

Finding job is getting harder every day. most companies in their requerements demand high skills with low salary. Every morning, i read ads in Recruit news and find nothing. everything is getting expensive and the inflation is rising.
Fucking employers know the situation of current economy and offer the salary which not match to the cost of living. job seekers have to accept unfair clauses in contract and work under any condition or staying unemployed.
