Saw some of it at work yesterday.

Flying celebrities around and using a huge amount of energy to tell us not to do the same?

Load of bollocks.

What's the alternative, sit back and watch our planet go to waiste. Besides we need to work on alternative fuel for cars and planes so what else can they do, go by boat?
The idea is to put pressure on governments to create an envronment so they start looking for alternatives.
My sister has two kids and she told me she is worried for their future and their future kids' .
I personally can't change a lot, neither can you but all together we can.

Even we as a whole can do nothing, so let's be positive and follow the elephants to the graveyard.

I for one am not that lethargic. I bought light that is energy efficient. Do not ask me to turn off my computer, that is a step too far but my girlfriend wants to get married some day and have kids. I know there is not much we can do but you start thinking when she starts mentioning children.
Oh and I really liked the Foo Fighters!

I was just sitting with a dairy business manager 10 minutes ago, and he was telling me that all milk related products are increasing weekly. Up more than 30 % in the past 6 month or something like that. So I asked him why now? He answered well because of George Bush.

He went on to explain that since Bushy's brilliant plan of finding alternative fuel consists of corn and Ethanol, which raised the price of corn. A cow consumes 100 KG of corn to produce 25 KG of milk. So, the cost of milk directly increased.

My response? "Where does the 75 KG of poo goes" :D

Earth will not be saved with stupid concerts by artists who care anly for the money, and they participate to this stupidility only for their promotion.

The damage that people did to this planet needs more than 1000 years to bring Earth to it's normal restoration, if we cerebrate that we don't polute it any mote. - a think that is impossible.

But Earth even it will be destroyed with all it's inhabitants it has the abillity to regenerate again after some thousand of years. If the human race will be destroyed, it hasn't the ability to renegarate again.

    The choice is yours....

I guess I'm too much of a cynic...I also see too many of these acts as caring more about self promotion, & being seen to be a part of it all, rather than genuinely supporting the cause...in this case, Live Earth.
