One-on-one i think we do actually have the better players, its the way they play that make Roma better than us
I strongly disagree. the only juve players that would make Roma's starting lineup are Trezeguet, Buffon and Chielleni imo.

One on one they definitely have a much better midfield. between a midfield consisting of De Rossi, Pizarro , Taddei, Mancini and Perotta or a midfield of Zanetti, Sissoko, Camo and a washed up Nedved. i know which one i'd choose.

you missed my point completely. I said comparing one player to another Juve would probably be better:

Camo > Taddei
Zanetti > Perotta

etc

But when the four/five of Roma play together they perform better than the four of Juve

Roma have the more balanced and deep squad, but when everyone is fit I think our 5+- best players are better than Roma's best 5. But Roma's squad overall wins it for me.

There's a big difference in our team's though. Roma at least play as a team and have a tactic. We have no movement, no players moving into eachother's positions, no overlapping, no passing play from midfield, no dynamic upfront. Our team is just about individuals blocking attacks and then hoping that another individual can come up with some brilliant effort(mainly DP or Camoranesi). We came a long way with individual brilliance and heart, but it could bring us only so far. With our set-up and gameplay this slump was inevitable really.

How can you compare Perotta to Zanetti though, thats like saying Mexes > Zebina. Perotta plays in the hole for Roma so Zanetti cant really be compared to him imo. If he was to be compared to anyone, it should be with De Rossi.

Just out of curiousity, which Juve players do you think can make the Roma starting lineup? and vice versa?

From Roma to Juve: Mexes, Mancini and De Rossi. Maybe Juan
From Juve to Roma: Buffon, Chiellini(as LB), Camoranesi and Trezeguet. Iaquinta also might fit in

    Lippi on the latest poll

"It 'something quite normal', "my relationship with the environment juventino lasted so much and was so good as to justify these expressions of affection."

How to say when a couple is in crisis can happen that one of the partners, in this case the supporters of Juventus, with the mind back to the good times experienced with the former, Marcello Lippi.

"Once the crisis but everything is as good as before, a couple of victories and fans will riappacificheranno with Claudio Ranieri".

In fact, that Lippi seems to be a genuine plebiscite. The people juventino seems now to have abandoned the current technical but the former coach insists: "Ranieri is a person with her head on the shoulders, will give equal weight to this poll

    Calciomercato
    ......................................................................................................................

Is he saying that Juve supporters are fickle :p

Is Lippi implying here that Ranieri will act upon the poll result(meaning he'll leave), thus giving weight to it? Or won't give weight to the results of the poll, because it's just a poll?

and why you dont want lippi , he is the best coach ever for juve IMO
we can't call Lippi to come back every time our board hires the wrong person

    No totti?
I mean, he is a superb player.
I don't speak about his feelings for Juve, but in football terms he is one of the best in his position!
And what position do you call that? He plays in a free role, i.e. no proper position

Mancini? Many here think he would be a great heir to Nedved(Not me though)

    Aquilani?
Mancini would be the creative spark we need imo

Aquilani hasn't shown too much, he has a lot of potential but i still think Zanetti would start instead of him

Since lippi MOST PROBABLY won't come before the end of the season, and since ranieri promised us all a CL-Spot, let's just give CR the chance. If he screws that one up, it will be easy to get rid of him... I'm ok with this. Changing a coach during a championship might as well fire backwards. In more, we are not rebuilding our image of we fire every next best coach (cf. deschamps.). Let's just wait. It's no use talking about mourinho, rijkaard or something. Ranieri won't go to barca to. Forget all that. I highly doubt we'll sack ranieri NOW, and i even have doubts that we sack him after the season. I just want to see how we play the next games. I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to the genoa game....... don't let us down CR

You've got to be kidding me??

The quality in Roma's team is much higher than Juve, no offense, but you should remove your juve tinted glasses to see that.
Agreed. Milan, Inter and Roma have more quality than us.

    Exactly.

    Juventus with some Roma players

    Buffon

    Cicinho-Mexes-Chiellini-Tonetto

    Camo-De Rossi-Nedved

    -------Totti

    Trezeguet-Del Piero
