Heh, I overlooked the date of the post. I'm using Mint/Cinnamon on a Mac Mini at work now. The IntelHD sometimes is having a hard time dealing with two screens at 1080p... -_-

So my windows 7 experienced one too many blue screens of death and completely died on me and I had to install a unlicensed windows to rescue my computer. The problems continued though. My laptop was also getting really hot. Anyway, I wiped the harddrive clean and installed Ubuntu 13.10. It's like I have a new computer. NONE of the old problems what so ever. It's been almost 1.5 weeks now and I'm not looking back Forza Linux!

I toyed around with it on my last computer when I had problems with windows but decided I couldn't be bothered and bought a new computer. I've also saved other people from trashing their computers by installing Linux. I don't know what it is but Linux runs just fine where windows doesn't.

The only customisation I do nowadays is change the wallpaper.

Chrome started crashing so I switched to Firefox and it too started crashing. I even tried Opera but same thing. I google'd it and someone with a similar problem was told to run a memtest which I did....and it had over 30k errors That explains why Windows crashed I suppose. I can still use Ubuntu because a few re-starts later and the problem is gone for now. I just need to order new RAM.
