If that would be the case then there are plenty of games where guys like DP, Nedved, Trez, Diego, VDV failed to show up. That doesn't mean they are not excellent players.

I have no problems in bringing in Lampard as he'll definitely help out in driving us forward centrally in midfield. But if we have some freak chance of signing VDV or Diego, I would rather we went that option.

I dont think the anti-Viera bit comes from his transfer to Inter.He was good in the start,but then he turned into absoloute shit.I remember the game against Bremen at home that we won 2-1,and i puked at how pathetic Viera was playing.I dont think he had such horrible games in Arsenal the way he did here.He was good sometimes,but by and large,he was a major dissapointment at Juventus.He was the only player whose sale i actually celebrated.

Sorry mate but I don´t see Lamaprd as a player who can take the responsibility of controling the whole midfield at a big club like Juventus. Also I don´t see him improving our whole team. That is what I call overrating. Lampard just doesn´t have that much of a quality.
