La Juve blinda Jimenez

Jimenez
Jimenez Grazia Neri

He's supposed to be good. We have good contacts with Ternana(Miccoli, Guzman....) so it's a possible move. He would go on loan for sure because of his age. They say he can play on the right or left(natural) as an attacking mid.

Maybe he isn't going on loan if we buy him. Don Fabio brought Mancini from Serie B and in that season he was first team regular. Who knows what is going on in Fabio's head:)

Yeah there was a lot of hype for Jimenez last year. Haven't seen him play yet however if he lives up to the potential the press put on him, he would be a good player. We need another attacking midfielder, and Jimenez might be the replacement for Nedved.

Well, I didn't say Jimenez should be the replacement for Nedved. It's a possibility though, if he indeed becomes a useful player.

we have olivera, not to mention a possible attacking midfielder coming in as well. i think moggi is just buying him as a maybe. he'll go on loan to get someone else and he'll be looked at if he plays a good season on loan.

its a typical moggi purchase if we get him that is.

I still believe zambrotta will be nedveds replacement on the left with an attacking midfielder, or playmaker coming into the team.

I did, sorry. I don't know anything about Jiminez except that he was seen as a huge talent last season. But he is still very young I think, 19 or so?

Ternana have released an official statement denying the story, but Luis Antonio Jimenez could be used as part of the Antonio Cassano deal.

The 20-year-old talent has long been linked with the Turin giants, but with his Serie B side struggling the time is right for him to move on.

The young Chilean is a right-sided midfielder is likely to be loaned out to Lecce or Messina to become better accustomed to the top flight, but newspaper ‘Tuttosport’ has another theory.

Jimenez had also been tracked by Roma last season and could well be used as bait to tempt them into releasing Antonio Cassano.

It is well known that Fabio Capello wishes to be reunited with the Italian international, who has also not hidden his desire to play for the Bianconeri.

Cassano’s contract is set to expire in 2006 and renegotiations have not gone well, as he is reportedly demanding the same wages as captain Francesco Totti.

But it is his character which has caused the most problems, bickering with all four of Roma’s Coaches this season and only ever really tamed by Bari’s Eugenio Fascetti and Juve boss Capello during his career.
