Not really, Kojo is an outstanding player.
PDC can't dribble and he's horrible defensively. His crossings are good but that's about it..

PDC is a great backup player but nothing more then that! I have to agree with above mentioned; if a LCM can take the LWB and make it look like he's always played there it's because we're not used to watching good LWBs.. Asamoah as LWB and Isla as RWB in 6 months they'll look nothing short of world class..

He will only get better! And he's not even playing in his favorite position!
Pirlo was playing CAM until he was like 23 years old and then he was moved to CM by Ancelotti, and eventually given the role as regista, having to play even in arrears.. It's never too late to find the natural position :) One could say Marchisio's natural position is CAM as well then since he used to play there as a kid. Asamoah is a natural LWB when he can put out a performance like the past ones!

Asamoah is already fluent in playing as a wide midfielder in the left flank. I think with the stamina and great tactical intelligence he has, playing as LWB is not that hard for him, its just that he needs to go back deeper and put himself in a more advanced position when the team is attacking.

But I agree with you he's already better than more than half of Seri A LWBs at this point, not to mention our own Paolino.

But I think it might have been Carlo Mazzone at Brescia who first experimented with Pirlo in the deep lying playmaker position.
