There is the standrard rumours about him, but nothinjg else. He would be a brilliant if risky move.

We could beat anyone for him bar chelsea....for whom im sure they already have an option on him.

Hmm I recently read somewhere that Juve's interest in him was becoming more then just that. The atricle said that Juve would buy him at the end of the current season and immediatly send him on a one year loan at Palermo.
However with Chelsea also in the running, it just may come down to who offers the most money, in that case, we'll never win.

There's a rumour going around that we could offer Zalayeta or Tudor + $$$ for him. I think we can't compete for him...they want too much for him.

Not true. Chelsea will only ever be able to attract two kinds of player - those who will start for them, and those who don't care given their paycheck. Too many of the latter will destroy that team spirit they've been so good with recently, while there are only so many of the former.

If Chelsea want him to start for them, it could well mean that Carvalho is surplus to requirements. I'd buy him any day.

i can honestly say that if kompany goes to chelsea, along with alex...carvalho will probably want to stay for the money anyway.

and why do we need a player that is likely to cost much when we can get barzagli or chivu for reasonable amounts?
sure,skill is a factor.
but i guess barzagli,chivu and kompany are on the same level in terms of skill.
