yeah I also don't understand why people say he's worse than Rabiot. you guys have short memories
agree, but if you want to see what a midfield box to box mid at juve level should be just look at the under apperciated matuidi.

matuidi was never appreciated highly here but now looking back we should how good of a box to box mid he was.

lack of long passes unlike pogba and vieira.
i think that's tactical

motta loves short and accurate passes, that's probably the biggest tactical change compared to last season. that brings higher passing accuracy and higher possession too

that said, thuram isn't a top passer anyway, so the tactics suit him rather well

He’s trying too hard sometimes. It’s almost like he gets more space forward because CopeMinors is just roaming into spaces that aren’t really helping or he has a defender on him. Thuram isn’t good enough yet, he needs to keep it simple.

Similar to Miretti in that he often finds himself in good positions but then doesn’t have the technical ability or composure to do anything meaningful with it.

Really liked him tonight. Always available for a pass, taking the ball into his stride, exploiting the space. Crucial to beat the press. More of this please.

he's good at tackling, recovering the ball and controlling the ball, but his passing is very mediocre. In a defensive game he has enough tough
Surely needs to work on his passing, perhaps also on the decision making or the timing of a pass/when to release the ball, which from the way he is progressing lately he will also very likely improve with more experience, but other than that he is an absolute bulldozer in midfield.

Yes but that’s exactly the sort of player we need in games like last night. Someone who is a wrecking ball, hounding their players and putting them under pressure with his workrate and physicality. Fagioli would have been a complete non-entity if he played instead of Khephren.

How many games has he played...starting and from the bench..under 15?? He is going to be a star for us. This was one of the better transfers in the summer.
