The Juventus owned duo of Fabrizio Miccoli and Manuele Blasi could remain at Perugia for the 2003/04 season.
That is the hope of President Luciano Gaucci who has maintained that the pair could decide to stay in Umbria.
"It is not certain that they will move to Juventus in the summer," said Gaucci. "The two clubs have agreed terms for this to happen but the players will have a choice in the matter."
Star striker Miccoli (pictured) was brought by the Turin giants last summer from Serie B outfit Ternana. But the youngster was immediately loaned to Perugia with great success.
The Italian, likened to Brazil legend Romario, has made a massive impact in Serie A and scored three times against Juventus recently to knock them out of the Coppa Italia.
Such form has led to reports that he will definitely be recalled to the Delle Alpi as the side will probably release Marcelo Salas in the summer.
As for Blasi, he too was signed last summer but was allowed to remain at the Stadio Curi for one more campaign. The former Under-21 international is also having a good season.

If you only loan out a player you can bring him back anytime you want, right? Perugia has no chance of keeping them if we need them?
