This has been a very frustrating game to watch. Bayer are playing a very high line with a only a back 3 high up wing backs and are not pressing us that hard which is actually working for them better than it should. We keep trying to play it through the middle. Berna should play more to the right and ronaldo more to the left and should be picking them off on the wings and creating huge spaces. Cuadrado worked into that space before but can't do so regularly playing as a left back.

Getting better defensively game by game, Bayer hardly created anything. I personally much prefer this more direct approach from Sarri. Good decision from Sarri to play this way imo.

Would like to see more from Ronaldo. The openings are there behind the line, he has to make the runs. Higuain has made more runs and even Cuadrado popped up behind their defence for Pjanic to hit.
