The dumb as shit thing is that on the Benatia one the ball passed through Cornelius' legs, Benatia was not expected it to reach him and he had half a nanosecond to react to that. Unless Benatia is a member of the Jedi Order it's an absolute nonsense call.

Watching slow-mo replays does not help the official in moments like this, it helps him make a dick of himself.
Good thing Gigi saved it, since that wasn't a penalty. Bad call by the ref.

I just don't get what is considered a "natural" position for the arm. Moving hand to ball is one thing, but accidental handballs, like Benatia's there, or Cutrone's goal Sunday... Why is Cutrone's arm considered in a "natural" position, and Benatia's considered "unnatural"? If anything, the opposite is true.
Where do you get that "natural" position stuff from? It's not mentioned in 'Laws of the Game'.

Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with the
ball with the hand or arm.

The following must be considered:
• the movement of the hand towards the ball (not the ball towards the hand)
• the distance between the opponent and the ball (unexpected ball)
• the position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is an offence
• touching the ball with an object held in the hand (clothing, shinguard, etc.)
is an offence
• hitting the ball with a thrown object (boot, shinguard, etc.) is an offence

The goalkeeper has the same restrictions on handling the ball as any other
player outside the penalty area. Inside their penalty area, the goalkeeper
cannot be guilty of a handling offence incurring a direct free kick or any related
sanction but can be guilty of handling offences that incur an indirect free kick.
