People seem clueless that he's playing as a CDM, not as a creative playmaking regista. So we get nonsensical comments about the 2 poor long passes he tried in that half, ignoring his amazing defensive contributions breaking up play, winning the ball back, etc. He's been our best player on the pitch this half, imo.
Another Allegri disaster. 352 agaisnt Palermo and we are progressively getting more offensive. Now the formation is 442 with Pjanic/CM as a LM or 433 with Higuain as a LW. This is embarassing!
No we weren't, aside from the last couple of minutes Alves was clearly in the back 3, Bonucci central Barzagli far to his left. With Cuadrado at wing back.
The biggest problem is that everyone is trying to rush their way to goal. We aren't trying to build play or hold the ball. We are rushing to get forward. All these Allegri is shit memes, why aren't we playing a 2 3 4 1 it's all a fucking myth. Stop rushing. Don't force the play. Hold the ball and make them work while we pass it around. Be patient. That is all we need to do.
We joke about conserving energy, but honestly we see this too often, where the tempo is slowed down for bunches of 15-20 mins at a time, you can't play games like that at 0-0 when you are barely hurting the opposition. We do it again and again since Conte, and then for the last 15-20 mins you'll see us panic. It puts the result and points into risk. Why not get the tempo up early on, grab a goal or two and then fuck about?
This is Pjanic's 2nd fucking game in his preferred position. Instead of scapegoating him maybe we should ask ourselves why we currently have fucking Dani Alves at RCB because Allegri doesn't even have a plan B formation if our CBs are injured.
Aslong as Mandzukic is on the pitch we can't play 4-3-3 (and 4-3-1-2 is out of the question with Cuadrado), it's dumb as fuck to play it with current personnel.

Apart from the dying minutes in the 2nd half the entirety of Cuadrados time on the pitch has been spent with him at RWB and Alves further behind him in a back 3. Our shape didn't change until the end. Hopefully we carry on like we ended, with Cuadrado pushed up.

Dani Alves is too prone to mistakes
Cuadrado seems like he doesnt believe in his ability
Mandzukic is good when we have Higuain injured otherwise he should never start
Lemina really angered me when he tried to score instead of passing it for a tap in

I don't deny that, we can't play 4-3-3 with Zuk and Higuain but with the XI on the pitch right now we should be playing 4-4-2. Which we sort of looked like we were switching to at the end of the half.
