Luca Toni is an awful signing. Pure and simple. If we disregard the fact that Luca Toni is finished as player (infact he was a player who had about 3-4 golden years in an otherwise ordinary career) he would need to be paired with younger legs, someone who is quick and nimble. We don't have anyone that fits the bill on that front so if we want Toni to work we would need to sign another striker.
Would you guys rather we owe money to the banks and close our books on a negative and at least have a chance of getting CL spot or not owing any money and closing the book on a positive/even but no chance of winning away from home let alone get the CL spot?
