If we buy someone who is good defensive, they will bitch over his lack of offensive skills
No, I will not. I think I have enough experience now in watching football to see that something simply won't work. A fullback who can't defend is much worse than a fullback who can't attack (which is kinda bad too, unless we're talking some amazing defender). I know that it's hard to find someone who is great in both, or at least good in both, but if we can't find or afford someone like that, we should at least go for someone who can defend well and buy an attacking winger on the same side. There is no use of an attacking fullback if his picnics in opponents part of the pitch and awful positioning result with at least a goal per match.

And I am usually very patient with players. I've had millions of fights here with Andy, Vinman and Cronios for not giving chances to some players. But right now I can't take it anymore. We don't have time nor patience. Motta won't be given time to improve in Juve. Unless he starts defending properly, he'll be benched in no time and we'll be stuck with Grygera. Italians have no patience with players who can't defend. And even less patience for defenders who can't defend.

I bet Alen's wife is not playing it easy and he's not happy about it.

Man, Alen, I feel like cutting my wrists after reading your comments in this pre-season...seriously. :D I know exactly what you mean, I just don't want to look at it that way. I think we'll look much better on field this season with a lot of improvements, especially if we sign a couple of more players. I don't want to judge anyone just yet and I'll be patient.

I'm talking right now obviously. And right now we have last year's team, without Poulsen and Canna, probably without Camo and with:

    1. A player who wasn't even among the best 3 players in an Udinese that was fighting against relegation till the last month.
    2. A player who wasn't the best player in a Bari team that finished behind Juve.
    3. A player who was a substitute in Roma and hardly got to play.
    4. A player who wasn't one of the best 2 players in a Catania team that finished behind Juve,
    5. A player who couldn't make it in Palermo, who wasn't the best player or one of the best 3 in Parma and who only played well when the matches didn't matter in the last rounds.

Now, as optimistic as I want to be, how can these players improve Juventus? They weren't the best players even in teams that were worse than the worst Juve I've ever seen.

Big teams buy the best players of the smaller teams. We didn't do even that.

    I admire your optimism.

    1) I wouldn`t say he wasn`t top 3 but I agree he isn`t more than medicore
    2) Did you expect Bari to finish above us?!
3)Yes he was and he has some good crosses but not that much of a good defending
4)Martinez was one of the best 2
5)agree about Palermo but was one of the best Parma players and is actually a good player

Overall I`d say the 2 positions we should really look for are LW and ST and I really hope that even if we get Dzeko we keep Diego as I might rate DP higher than him as SS but Diego is certainly a great player and could adapt to that position
