Marchionni to replace Salihamidzic (one of the players who were actually trying).

Palladino to replace Nedved or Del Piero and simply not affect the team at all.

In other words, nothing will change in the second half.

Now that's the big question... he should participate more in the game. even Trezeguet is trying more FFS.

Bullshit. What do you want him to do when the midfield is producing nothing? He has been fighting for the ball and tracking back when necessary. When he gets the ball he makes good use of it. He had that lovely flick to Nedved, the corner which brought our goal and the free kick which Chiellini nearly scored from. If our midfield had any idea of how to pass and keep the ball maybe you'd see more from DP but with what he's had for service he's done well.

its too much of a risk each week, we shouldn't sell him but either find a replacemtn or hope that crisicito has some amazing form in training that it convices ranieri to play him there and put chiellini back to lb.

Summary: If we're going to score, we're going to have to create more set piece opportunities. We're doing little to challenge this defense. Either that or we have to hope Ballotta's Alzheimer's kicks in fast where he forgets what team he's on.

Defense: generally blows. We're not bad in individual, man-on-man situations. But there's a complete lack of awareness of what the other defenders on the pitch are doing and where they need to be. I don't want to flip-flop on my higher marks of Molinaro lately, but defensively the man is about as helpful to us as a guy with C4 strapped to his chest out there.

Midfield: What midfield? Don't you need to have some constructive possession to be considered a midfield?

Attack: Can take long coffee breaks at the espresso bar between set piece opportunities.

Anyway, I dont think our defence should take too much blame, when noone in midfield knows how to keep the ball in our possesion.

I've seen the replay several times, and yes he was onside in both occasions (before Sali receive the ball and when he send it accidentally to him).
