Do any of you FUCKWITS have any official confirmation they're even coming, or did you just hear it from "your buddy" on "VS Dot Com" or some crap?

I've searched for a while trying to find any confirmation of the game, yet there is none.

So, who the hell are your sources?

That's what I'm fucking saying. I've been searching for confirmation ever since this thread opened a week ago, and I've found almost nothing. All I've got is this:

Scroll down to see the summer schedule. But, It's obviously not official.

that's nothing. i wouldn't be surprised if tickets were double that
I would never pay over 50 euros for a Juventus friendly. I doubt I'd even pay more than 15 TBH. But then again flying to Italy isn't such a big deal if you live in Belgium and unfortunately it is if you live in Canada. What's the news on those cheaper transatlantic flights that were supposed to become available pretty soon?

TORONTO FC ANNOUNCES 2009 CARLSBERG CUP

Toronto FC announced Saturday that Club Atlético River Plate of Argentina will visit BMO Field in the annual Carlsberg Cup on Wednesday, July 22 2009.

River Plate will be the team’s fifth international visitor to Toronto to play in a friendly, and the second team to battle for the Carlsberg Cup. In 2007, Toronto FC welcomed Portuguese side Benfica and English Premier League club Aston Villa, while in 2008 the club played host to Mexican side Pachuca (Carlsberg Cup winners) and Argentinean team Independiente.

“To bring a club of River Plate’s history to Toronto is very exciting for us,” said senior director of business operations Paul Beirne. “They are a team steeped in tradition and once again we are pleased to host such an opponent at BMO Field. We look forward to another exciting game with some South American flair that our fans will enjoy.”

well we now know River Plate is gonna be in Toronto.
