Rather than start a new site, why not have a Juventus USA/north America thread here where we can all get together and discuss special US/north America Juve matches, events, get togethers, etc?

Yep. As an American myself, there's no better place than here, IMO. I see no reason to try to break off and create some pet site that will only be 1/10th as good.
A dozen years ago when things like Usenet was far more popular, there were always movements to fraction off newsgroups into narrow sub-topics and posters. I can't think of any that actually amounted to anything but a lame shadow of the original.
So nice idea in theory, but I can't see what a more narrow site would achieve that this one couldn't do 10x better.
It's not about separtion, only about focusing on topics related to America or Americans. I once made a thread for Americans here however it was infiltrated by people who wanted to start a political argument or who wanted to remind us all how terrible of a country the US is..
Of course we could always use Nick's thread, however apart from that place there is no general discussion place for topics involving Americans....let me try to find the thread I made.

Like what mate? How many Juve games and events happen hear on a daily discussable bases? Get togethers? Most members either live in the far west or the far east..., so, impossible.
Besides, there are no Juve Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. threads, so why have an American one. No offense, but there's no point.
