Juventus chief officer Antonio Giraudo has underlined the club's intention to fend off any interest in coach Fabio Capello.

Capello is one of the most respected coaches in world football and has increased his stick since moving to Turin.

A second successive Serie A title is close to being wrapped up and he is understandably catching the eye.

Real Madrid are in the market for a new coach and president Fernando Martin has already indicated Capello is on his wish list.

Juve are aware of the speculation, but Giraudo claims they have no intention of allowing Capello to leave Turin.

"Losing Capello simply does not exist," Giraudo told La Repubblica. "The plan is that he will stay with us until 2009."

Giraudo's own deal expires in the summer, but he is keen to remain at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

"Staying at Juve is my dream," he declared. "We want this club to develop into the most important club in world football. It is my dream to help them and stay for many years at Juve."

With the title almost in the bag, thoughts would appear to be turning to the summer transfer market.

Giraudo has suggested that deals could soon be wrapped up for Parma midfielder Marco Marchionni and Internazionale's forgotten man Cristiano Zanetti.

"There is no need to sell players," stated Giraudo. "Every choice will be made to benefit Juve.

"The club owners have indicated that there is a clear financial plan.

"The initial steps have been made to sign Marco Marchionni and Cristiano Zanetti."

I would say give him a ten-year contract with a clause that ensures he's roommates with Zlatan at every away game.

That's how sure I am that we won't be winning the CL with him around.

i would be happy if he stays, only and only if he changes his views about his game, leaving the defensive mentality and approach the game with attacking mentality.
