you wont need to worry about that Greece will never make a final.

Back to Iturbe...im inclined to think conte and co have seen Iturbe enough to have the knowledge on whether he is good enough to be the next big thing for us. He plays in Serie A so im confident they know what they are doing. As for the price, going up a few million here or there probably wont break the budget as much anyway.

If Pogba or Vidal are definitely going to be sold, we were never going to directly replace them with already made world class players...it would defeat the purpose of selling them in the first place...as first and foremost it would be to generate cash.

With interest in Romulo, who knows what can happen now...Lich may not extend, we should get decent cash for him even at his age with one year left on contract...he still is the best RB going around.

Prandelli wanting Giovinco...maybe we can cash in on him too. Coman is already his replacement.

So I wouldn't be too upset if we landed him for 29m.

I see two scenarios here:

1.) Verona knows we really wanted Sanchez and missed the chance. Players of that calibre won't come any cheaper and they know that if Juventus wants to do well in Italy and better in the CL they need a game changer (someone that allows us to change formation). We aren't after anyone else because not many of these kinds of players are available so they are going to make sure they get premium value. They don't need to sell to us, they can sell to anyone abroad. They have the bargaining chips, we don't in this.

AND

2.) We have been watching Iturbe for a while now and scouting reports are screaming for this kid and we are convinced he is worth it.

Here is the way I look at it. This board has never spent this much money on any player, be it established or not. There must be something that the coaching staff and management must see in this kid to take this kind of chance
:agree: Totally agree with this . The risk is pretty big and amount paid is higher than his value imo , but our managment wants to take the risk and i faith in them .

Which ever way you look at it 27m is craziness.

The kid played the entire season as a 20 year old in a new league and country and helped make Luca Toni play like the Luca Toni of 10 years ago.

It's a risk I wouldn't mind taking.
4 assists to his name in the entire season.

He sure was responsible for helping Toni score so many goals.

No it's not, and the reasons thereof have been discussed at great lengths already. So either come up with a better player to spend the money on, or jog on,

He seems to be no more than a Giovinco. No need to spend a cent if that's what you're looking for. Keep walking.
Comparing Iturbe to Giovinco...

:sergio:

PS. Iturbe is much taller than Giovinco and even taller than Sanchez. He is also built like a tank.

Iturbe at 20, 8 goals and 5 assists in 34 games.

Sanchez at 20, 3 goals and 2 assists in 32 games

Sanchez at 21, 5 goals and 4 assists in 32 games

Iturbe is already far beyond where Sanchez was at his age.

People comparing a kid to players near their supposed primes lmao

Most attackers output increases significantly after their early 20s. As has been shown what? 40 times with Alexis' stats at the same age.

Iturbe is ready for the big time.

I hope some of you bring a fork and whip cream because the Humble pie was just put into the oven.
