Having to run back after Fagioli's mistake on a hot day at the end of of a pre season friendly wasn't ideal to be fair to him

so the tackle was with exhausted legs but...

we still wasted money that should of been spent elsewhere.

Not even half as bad as some make him out to be, i agree however that he was way too clumsy with the ball this game compared to the previous ones but he is obviously still raw and inconsistent, also don’t think he is at his best at LB and if he will ever have a future playing here it will be as CB primarily, although episodes like the tackle that caused the PK today might suggest he is way too reckless to start there currently.

What!?!? Absolute madness!!!

The die is cast now, sides have been picked, it's now a matter of pride and being right on the internet.
you know me and my bias but he was not even half as bad as some make him out to be, i agree however that he was way too clumsy with the ball this game compared to the previous ones but he is obviously still raw and inconsistent, also don’t think he is at his best at LB and if he will ever have a future playing here it will be as CB primarily, although episodes like the tackle that caused the PK today might suggest he is way too reckless to start there currently.

Its Fagioli`s fault the attack has happened to begin with but Cabal could have got to the ball first, he hesitated and then put a reckless challenge so obviously his fault and he could have dont much better.
That being said he was relatively ok. Did some nice things in game build up, he must improve defensively if he wants to ever become a pure starter. The bar isnt high and he could get it with a defensive improvement.

D.Luiz looks good and Thuram is definitely improving. I wish they had a good player to partner them instead of Locatelli. Koop should make our midfield much better.
With N.G probably a done deal already, we need to focus on the CB as we lost in our battly to sign Todibo to fucking West Ham...
I just cant see us getting a good one which means we need that Cabal improvement faster than the usual development.

Vlahovic is worrying TBH. a fast forward who can shoot well but also head the ball is definitely needed should Vlahovic not wake up.

Can't judge the guy on 1 friendly performance. If Fagioli didn't slip up and led to him giving that penalty away, you probably wouldn't be so harsh.
He actually played well if you disregard this incident.

In the first half, Atletico had (only?) two chances come from his poor position awareness. He is a young player with great physical, hope he develops well with Motta. For now, he can't be a starter.

He performed well against Brest and rated the second best player of juve. some give negative credits to him because of one match, these comments are too biased. look at his statistics in previous year and he was really impressive despite playing for an underdog team.

He is more capable in offensive phase than defensive mode. his cross and ball handling is superb when he plays as flank role.
