The Tonight Show host Jay Leno held an Ebay auction for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that contained signatures of various Hollywood stars and artists for the Hurricane Katrina fund. The bike was auctioned off tonight on Ebay with a winning bid of just over $500,000, an amount far less than the same auction Leno held in January for the Tsunami victims that brought in over $800,000. Leno first started this charity tradition a few years ago in which he brought in $360,000 for the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11th by selling another signed motorcycle.
Leno was said to be very happy with the amount recieved on the Tonight Show earlier.

Certainly a nice attempt, however, $500,000 is not really going to do much to cut the $20 billion damage estimate weeks after Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. That's like picking up a Penny and trying to buy a Ferrari with it...
