Generally speaking it was a good performance. '

Offensively the team kept posession, but suffered with Pirlo's lack of form, Marchisio's little participation, Matri's and Litch's limitations. We had trouble in creating opportunities, due to lack of play, but it was good control of the game as usual.

Defensively we were screwed. Lucio was awful when required, Barzagli looked absent and Bonucci simply can't be the defence commander.

But Gio and Asamoah showed they are going to improve this team. Isla and Chiellini will make it so much better. Promising season.

and actually I really like Vucinic playing as the most offensive forward, much better than as SS. The team is really dangerous with him and Gio upfront.

That's why I dont think a heavy striker like Llorente doesn't really fit in this team. It's just like Matri (but with better finishing)

Yeah we didn't play fantastically well, but then neither did Napoli really. Probably something to do with it being the first competitive game of the season between two good teams, half way around the world in the pouring rain.

Just a thought.

We'll get a lot better, the signs were there as the game went on, even before the pen and cards.

The team that finished last season was: Buffon - Barzagli/Bonucci/Chiellini - Litch/Pirlo/Vidal/Marchisio/De Ceglie - Vucinic/Borriello(Matri)

defense was awesome, with Barzagli and Chiellini as cornstones. Midifield was awesome. We needed better perfomarce in the wings and upfront.

Asamoah looked fucking amazing today in the LWB. Isla will be a fucking beast as RWB. Giovinco looks very good as an SS and IMO Vucinic plays better as the frontman, a huge improvement over Matri/Borriello.

So actually the greatest weaknesses are already adressed. Pirlo and Marchisio are yet to get to top form. I'm loving the idea of having Asamoah as a LWB. With a Poacher who can finish and keep posession we will be awesome.

Just wanted to see a WC central back to complete the defense....maybe next year.

According to FIGC, there will be an investigation regarding 4-2 Supercoppa victory over Napoli. Some sources say Massimo Carrera was cought drinking when he was 14 years old, and that file has been re-opened. Trophy will go to Naples, and Juventus should start a new season with -10pts. More news to follow: Chielini's dog (called Gallo) furiously fucked other dogs nearby Giorgio's mansion while Juventus defender was watching the game. FIGC is dealing with it, says local policeman. It can co up to -15pts if Giorgio's dog really rage-fucked other animals.
