Yeah, Dzeko is expected to start.

There's definitely a better balance about Roma's attack now with Dzeko and Salah.

In many previous seasons you looked at Roma's attack and, as talented as the attack was, wondered where the goals would come from.
Yes i checked Gazetta aswell to see that. I agree, their attack has been a problem the last two seasons, especially when you consider how much their extraordinary midfield creates in most games. Their defence now seems to be their "weak spot", but as in last season, i expect them to get fairly many clean sheets anyway, since they will dominate most games and their defence won't be put under much pressure.

it was just my fantasygame that had Dzeko as doubtful, so i wondered if he were a bit injured or something. They don't have a lot of depth in the front department, goalscoring wise at least.

Ferrero: 'Cassano can be a director’

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero says Antonio Cassano could become a director at Marassi when he retires.

The striker has returned to the Blucerchiati on a free transfer, and the patron sat alongside the new signing as he was presented to fans and media.

“I didn’t want the news to get out,” Ferrero revealed in the Press conference.

“I wanted to surprise you, but I couldn’t. I’ve always been a fan of Cassano. I’m a lad from a Roman neighbourhood, I used to go and watch this guy and we were ecstatic when he played.

“Now I’m happy to be his President. The least we could do was to bring him home, I’m very happy, because he deserves to finish his career at Sampdoria.

“When he finishes playing, if I’m still in my position, Cassano will have a role as a director.”

The Italian international left Sampdoria in controversial circumstances in 2011, falling out with then-President Riccardo Garrone after a dispute over sponsorhip.

“There’s no debt,” Ferrero assured.

“I think we’ve made that clear. There’s a guy up here who is happy to be back. Talents, young people, they often make mistakes, but the important thing is he isn’t nasty.

“I don’t want to talk about that episode anymore.”
