Come on man ffs.

They have a shaky goalkeeper , $#@!ty defense and an ok strikeforce. Only their midfield is quality, and even in that department they're not better than Juve. You're exaggerating here, i doubt you'd have been happy with their signings if they were for juve instead.
yeah I think Inter is better on paper.

Jovetic (if healthy) and Icardi are top players and imo better than anything roma has. Palacio and Shaqiri are very good too for the bench. Roma just has more quantity.
They have a very good midfield in Kovacic, Kondogbia, Hernanes, Guarin with the first two having very high potential as players. If they explode they could match pjanic and strootman. Medel, Brozovic and Melo will also be decent. Roma probably has a better midfield but Inter's isnt poor anymore.

Their defense is now much better. Miranda was amazing, Vidic is very experienced, Jesus has potential, and they also have rannochia and murillo. They got santon, nagatomo, montoya and d'ambrosio as fullbacks. That can be a very good defense. Roma only has Castan that can be solid.

In GK Handanovic is world class. Roma's guy is much worse.

Roma's only clear advantage is the fact that they kept the same squad for 2 years with the same coach and added more good players. Inter is behind in that regard.

Mancini is a good coach, full season under him will bring them stability. They made some nice purchases and might overtake Roma, but I cant see any side challenging us in the next few years.

Juve
Inter
Roma
Milan

I feel like Milan will make some good signings in the next few weeks which will tilt the balance in their favor in terms of finishing top 3.

As of now, Juve and Roma are my top 2 , no doubt.

Mancini a good coach :lol2: he sure proved that at Inter and City.
He managed Lazio extremely well, very much liked that side. Eliminated Juve with Galata few seasons back, so that is something also to consider. He's not a top manager certainly, but a good one that is capable of fullfiling team's potential he definitely is. No matter which manager is at City they always suck, but he did win EPL though iirc.

Milan did some good signings, but their defense and midfield is still weak. It was horrible before, now just weak/average. Bacca is looking great though.

Anyway if they land Romagnoli they may start the transition to a good team maybe next year, not this one. The squad is still too poorly constructed.

To me Roma is still a clear second.

If you go by levels, it is:

Juve

Roma

Napoli Inter

Milan Fiorentina Lazio

Can't sleep on Napoli, they've strenghted that shitty midfield of theirs with Allan and Valdifiori, could be much more dangerous and solid next year. Still needs CBs though.

1 Juve
2 Roma
3 Inter
4 Napoli
5 Milan
6 Lazio
7 Viola

*edit i moved Napoli to 4 and Milan to 5

* ill probably change this again when the transfer window closes :p
i like what Milan were doing lately. signing young italians and creating a solid base for the future. but they should sign Romagnoli finally, he seems like the player they could be building their defense around in the coming years.

they still need an AM, LB, CB and a striker (all younger ones), but these are rather their needs for the next summer since this team is good enough to finish on EL places and if Mihajovic can sort them out, they could be challenging for the 3rd place.
