Police called as Roma midfielder is mistaken for terrorist by hotel guests
Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has been caught up in an extraordinary situation after guests of the hotel he was staying in called police suspecting him of being a terrorist.
Major cities around Europe are understandably on edge after the events in Paris last week and then the threat to Hannover on Tuesday evening.
Yet the Belgian international, whose father was Indonesian, reportedly caused alarm with his hat and tattoos while relaxing in in the Raddison hotel in Antwerp with family.
Police attended the scene, only to recognise the 27-year-old star and realise that there had been a mistake.
And an incredibly understanding Nainggolan even posed for pictures with the policemen (above) to show that there were no hard feelings.
