By the way, it looks very likely that Parma goes bankrupt, and remainder of the games will be 3-0. We were supposed to play them on weekend of April 12th. CL quarterfianls first leg will be played at 14/15 of April. This means we'll have an extra week off if we proceed to the next round

Kinda sucks. I remember watching Parma looong ago when they were decent.

I wish some other club went bankrupt.

Well if we progress and draw Bayern, that extra week wouldn't matter that much

I know! I hope Inter follows suit.
if They don't pay Icardi for 6 months Wanda would leave him and go back to Maxi

What we do know about Parma are some facts that show just how serious the situation has become.

Last week several vehicles, including a team bus, were seized by the Italian version of the Inland Revenue due to unpaid taxes. Read more here.

Nobody at the club – including players and behind the scenes staff – has been paid since July 2014. Read more here.

Tomorrow’s game against Udinese has been called off because the club doesn’t have the money to pay stewards or security staff at the Stadio Tardini. Read more here.

Youth team Coach Hernan Crespo revealed today that their Primavera game was only able to go ahead thanks to a “favour” from ground staff.

He also said there is no money to pay cleaning staff or electricity bills, so the teenage players are getting sick from taking cold showers:lol:. Read more here.

Director of sport Pietro Leonardi has been hospitalised for heart problems caused by stress and today moved to a clinic specialising in depression and anxiety. Read more here.

If Parma do go under before the end of the season, the results earned so far will stand.

Yup, they were relegated to Italian 4th division due to financial difficulties at the end of 2001/02 iirc.
They ended up calling themselves florentia viola i remember

Seriously though respect to Donadoni and to the staff and players who have stuck with the club through these tough times, I honestly can't imagine what the fans must be feeling like. God knows what this new owner is like I like to think what he is saying is true about paying the players but reading about his account being cleaned out doesn't bode well and unfortunately to say it's the fans who are made the pay with their emotions. Although I'm surprised they haven't staged some sort of protest to demand answers from the board (if they haven't done so already) shame, not that I ever had any feelings towards parma as such but I do empathise with the fans
