I understand the hate surrounding Totti (I even think he loves being hated) but the man's football talent to me is twice of the Messi robots we see nowadays.

He will be missed when he retires (I think I'll be raped for this :D) but Totti, Del Piero, Zidane, Rivaldo, Rui Costa etc are not desired in modern football lately, you have to run like a robot and have the physical aspects before anything in nowadays.

Young Totti was an incredible player. But as soon as he reached 29 or something he instantly became a grandpa and looked totally different. Sure, he still had some great passes, but since then he's not 70% of the player he used to be imo.

Please shut up Doosh. The guy was still magnificent even after his horrible injury in 2006.

Totti was great even in his mid 30es. You can hate his guts, but he's immensely talented and will be great loss for Italian football when he eventually retires.

I've got slated on here for saying Totti is great, he slowed down due to knee and foot injuries, he could have won more sure but his footballing ability is/was breathtaking.
