Damiao going to napoli would be fantastic for our scudetto winning chances.

Cause those attacking mids they have, cannot carry a team and need a strong intelligent striker, where as damiao is unintelligent and one directional, simply not capable of carrying them either, making it hard for them to make the play.

(pedroflu can relate to the intelligence part, i heard if first from him irrc)

Sadly really, i remember absolutely loving damiao in previous fifa games, as he had wonderfull physical and technical characteristics

short of getting ronaldo or ibra there was no way they were going to get somone on or better than cavani's level.

they are going to have to change their style of play a bit to suit their signings

On paper, Roma and Napoli look quite strong too. It won't be a walk in the park. Trust me.

It wont but one of the things to consider is that Roma and Napoli are under new managers while Viola and Milan have continuity.Just look at Viola, tehy actually have a settled midfield which oozes creativity although a bit light on the defensive side and now they've added a 25 goal bomber. As for Milan they are going to improve on last year surely.

Napoli are in complete transitional phase.I dont expect much from them this year and i think same goes for Roma too who have bought an inexperienced man who is just known to play good football.I mean he's a bit of an unknown quantity.

problem i have with napoli is that the team is practically going to be revolutionised, both in personel and system which will take time to gel which i will work against them, i wouldn't be surprised to see fiorentina and milan surpass them this season. The question is will napoli be patient enough with benitez to see it through?

this is what's going to happen
1.Juventus
2.Milan
3.Inter

reasons? I doubt Benitez will handle serie A once again and Mazzari is a very good coach.
Unless Balotelli will smoke in the toilets before every match it won't be a problem for milan to take the 2nd spot.
Fiorentina will have to play in europe and they lost jovetic.
Roma have a coach without calcio expirience and their owners still wonder why there are no play off games in june.
Lazio are very poor and don't have enough quality.

Inter finishing 3rd  Even the most unbiased of persons would say they have a mediocre team unless that Thohir guy provides a good amount of money for further transfers.

Fiorentina will be playing in EL.Could totally see them not giving a f*ck about it and focus solely on the league.

we also finished 7th for 2 years and we were mediocre team too and we won the league twice. Merda won't play in europe and i can't see reason why Mazzari can't lead merda to 3rd spot. I will repeat myself - mazzari is a very good coach who sets a discipline and play style to his teams very fast. All progress napoli had in recent years - a lot part of this goes to watch_wanker.

Juve significantly upgraded their team after those 7th place finishes. I don't think Inter have improved all that much.

Agree with the general consensus with regards to Napoli. Cavani is a massive loss for them, and unless they replace him with another "fuoriclasse" (Ibra for example) they are losing a lot, in terms of a consistent goal scorer and match winner.

Not all that impressed by their signings, they have upgraded some positions certainly, but they are going to have to totally change their system of play (to a 4-2-3-1) and TBH they still need two new fullbacks as Maggio and Armero are certainly not as great playing in a back 4 as they are in the 3-5-2. Cannavaro also still a very weak link as their starting CB.

They are also dealing with the CL and the league at the same time which will push their questionable quality in depth to the absolute limits. I think they will struggle to make the CL places this season, similar to how they fared in 11/12.

My top 3

1) JUVENTUS
2) Bbilan (Referee help will see them comfortably in top 3)
3) Fiorentina

Napoli, Inter, Roma and Lazio will fight for the remaining European places.

“I called Mourinho to wish him the best for his return to Chelsea,” Inter President Moratti told La Stampa.

“What did Jose say? He said we’ll meet again at Inter in three years.”
