Disgraceful.

We need a bigger stadium because we can't even fill our current one.
38 / 40. It is full, my friend. Don't forget those season ticket holders who don't attend. Don't you remember people in Turin were complaining about not being able to find ticket, we had to sky rocket the prices in CL games to catch other teams in revenue etc.?

Building a new stadium is happening once in 100 years and they came up with this. Inhumane shortsightedness. Village teams are building new stadiums with no less than 50K capacity.

Who cares about that, I'd rather have a consistently full 41k stadium than a 60k stadium with a third of its seats empty most of the time.
Indeed.

Just saw San Siro yesterday. Could park a few buses up in those seats. Perhaps they're already preparing for the Barcelona clash?

We won it 28 times in a stadium like that. We're losing (let's say) 10 million per year. Money comes first and we will be financially left behind once the others rebuild their stadiums much bigger than ours.
How'd you get 10 million?

We won it 29 times before, but if we had a decent stadium maybe it would've been 40. Don't you think the kind of frenzied atmosphere we had last season was crucial to our title win? Maybe we won't do as well if our support from the stands was weaker. Then we'd be making less money anyway.

I said 'let's say 10'. How could support from stands get weaker? Maybe some of the seats would be empty but more fans would be there as well. Average attendance of 38K means it was always full and we are denying some of the fans who are willing pay money to be there.

I agree that it's perhaps a bit too small but we all know what happened to the old stadium, constantly empty seats.

I think maybe 45-50k would have been perfect for us but I trust Juventus to have made proper research to which seat capacity is optimal for us so the new stadium is probably that.
