The old dinosaur club don't want forward-thinking people like Agnelli rattling their cages. They want their teams to not be affected, they don't care about the League or calcio making progress.

Lega Serie A was designed with elitism in mind, but really 80% of the clubs are nothing without the 20%. This facade of importance is a joke, and they'll keep the standard stagnant.

It's probably a personal thing too. I reckon they don't want to be 'shown up' by more famous people like Baggio for example. They like to sit there and think they control everything but really they are so out of touch it's ridiculous.

Spot on.

There are so many things that can and should be done to add quality to the league.

Serie A would be much better of with 18 teams. This season alone there are at least 3-4 teams that should be in Serie B really.

You joke, but Galliani will say something about it. I think I'd rather keep Vidal and Chiellini than win that trophy.

Besides, next year's figures will be more of a true reflection of how the current situation is.

never mind at least he can use that to manipulate the fans and tell them everything is ok, we still got money to compete, yet they are selling their prized assets, i mean abate is even on his way out

Abate is a talentless heck. The amount of money Zenit is willing to pay is a good deal for them. They'll raise funds for Balotelli by selling him.

I'm not sure Deloitte would go into that much detail, especially considering the shifty way money moves around in their setup. They'd record turnover against expenditure. Milan didn't really spend much in terms of fees, and their wage bill went down about 20% with those two out.

“Balotelli and Kaka? Neither of them will arrive,” Berlusconi told Radio 2.

“It is not possible at the moment with the economy in this condition. Adriano Galliani always has hope, but the accounts hold him back at the end of the day.”

I'm not surprised at all, obviously Berlusconi was up to his usual old smokescreen for the fan tricks by talking up players who are out of their reach. I doubt they seriously intended on signing anyone substantial or they would have pursued more realistic, affordable targets like we have.
