Allegri on Pato's injury: "When these mishaps repeat themselves, it is unlikely to be down to just one single cause," the coach told reporters in a press conference.

"We have examined him alongside the medical staff and it is not normal for a kid of his age to suffer this type of muscle strain.

"It is difficult to ascertain the cause of any injury let alone with Pato who has suffered eight, all at San Siro. But the ground is not to blame."

:agree: It's the roids, I tell you.

Italy's Serie A has sold its domestic TV rights for the three-season period spanning 2013 to 2015 for nearly €2.5 billion ($3.47 billion).

The satellite rights will stay with Sky Italia of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, while RTI (Reti Televisive Italiane) of Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi's Mediaset group will hold on to the digital rights for 12 of the 20 clubs.

Sky will pay €558 million for 2012-2013, €561 million for 2013-14 and €564 million for 2014-2015.

RTI's bid was for €259 million, €268 million and €277 million over the three seasons.

The total deal for both packages is €2.487 billion.

Rofl you're wrong.

EPL dwarfs over everyone.
I think that you are wrong again. See it for yourself:
In 2009-10, broadcasting rights accounted for over half of the revenue earned by Serie A clubs and they also typically earned more overall in that area than teams from the Premier League

Following a complex negotiation process collectively negotiated deals for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons were agreed which are reportedly worth over €900m per annum. This is a considerable increase compared to the previous values, and gives Serie A the most valuable domestic football rights in Europe, marginally ahead of the English Premier League.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if you know better please shed me some light ;)

I heard that Sneijder won't play today, and Muntari will play behind the strikers :seven:
Only because Sneijder and Stankovic are injured, presumably. Could still play Alvarez there, though.

Gazzetta says:

Cesar

Nagatomo-Lucio-Samuel-Chivu

Zanetti-Cambiasso-Obi

Muntari

Forlan-Pazzini
