Balotelli was in the company of three friends and the group was spotted by an elderly lady who immediately called the police.

When the officers identified the presence of the Nerazzurri hitman, the group was allowed to leave with just a warning. No charges were brought against the youngster.

Romero set for Italian switch

Argentina keeper expected to leave AZ

New AZ Alkmaar manager Gertjan Verbeek has revealed that an agreement has been reached with an Italian club for the sale of Sergio Romero.

Goalkeeper Romero, currently on international duty with Argentina at the World Cup, has been with AZ since 2007.

He remains under contract for two more years but the club's financial situation means a number of players are likely to be let go this summer.

Verbeek, who will take charge of the team for the new campaign following his recent appointment, is bracing himself for Romero's departure.

And Verbeek has indicated that Romero could be set to ply his trade in Serie A from now on.

"I won't name the club," he told Dutch television. "But the clubs have reached an agreement."

"I don't expect Sergio will return to Alkmaar."

It's getting tough out there. We should react fast and grab our targets.

Roma could get sold and there's a chance it happens within the next 48 hours. Great news for them, bad for us. The guy could be some American and he's in Soros' rang when it comes to money.

If happens, Serie A will be a real hell next season but more interesting, that's for sure.

There are reports in Germany that Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi would like Oliver Bierhoff to return to the club as a director this summer.

It’s thought that Berlusconi would like to fill the position once held by Leonardo who went on to become Milan’s Coach after being a prominent technical consultant.

“Tottenham have bid €35m, an offer we cannot refuse,” for Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani, confirmed Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini.
Spurs had already been heavily linked with the two World Cup stars for some time, but it seems the matter is heading towards a conclusion.

“Tottenham have bid €35m, an offer we cannot refuse, seeing as the two players have both said they want to leave,” Zamparini told Sky Italia television.

Danish international defender Kjaer is hot property and was also linked with Juventus, Inter, Barcelona and Manchester United.

Uruguayan striker Cavani had been close to Inter, who seem to have toned down their interest, while Manchester City made an offer.

“We will reinvest the money for these players,” assured Zamparini. “The midfield is my biggest concern, whereas in defence and attack we are fairly covered.”

Liverpool's Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt (30) stated today : "I heard about the rumours linking me with Inter Milan. I would join them if they really want me, they are a top club and my friend Wesley Sneijder always talks wonders about them. Moreover, it would be great for me to work with coach Rafael Benitez again - we are often in touch and get along".
