Wait, so Mourinho has a buy-out clause of 16m eur and if Inter don't want to let him go for free, they can even earn 16m eur on him?

They can even earn 16m eur from a coach?

Eh, when it's going well it's going well.
It's 7mln, I think. But I've read somewhere that in the new contract he signed last year is a clause that frees him from Inter in case he wins the CHL.

Jose Mourinho “will meet Massimo Moratti today or tomorrow,” confirms his agent, as talks with Real Madrid are “practically done.”

The Coach has made it clear he wants to leave Inter after winning the Treble, but there is the matter of a contract that runs to 2012 and a £16m buy-out clause.

“Yes, Mourinho will meet Moratti in Milan,” revealed agent Eladio Parames to the ANSA news agency.

“If the meeting isn’t in the next few hours, then it will be tomorrow.”

The tactician said he would begin talks with Real Madrid today, but is already very enthusiastic about this new adventure.

“It is a great challenge to go for the Liga against a Barcelona side that picked up 100 points, not to mention the Champions League,” Mourinho told Portuguese television Tvi.

“Before I can sign for Madrid, I need to see a few people, some of whom I haven’t spoken to yet.

“I saw my representative Jorge Mendes and the matter is practically done, but the final decision is mine, not his.

“I want to see what they can offer me to ensure I start my work without fear. I think the club will complete the contract.

“The Champions League Final was my last game with Inter. It was very difficult to say goodbye to the players.

“Moratti didn’t say anything to me. He just hugged me close and that means more than a thousand words.

“Now I know that the Bernabeu will be my home for a while.”

That would be interesting. I'd like to see how Ciro would get on at a smaller club. They'd be taking quite a big risk though so I don't think it'll happen.

It seems that Adriano already bought a ticket to Italy. He'll be there in June.

Ranieri is good when it comes to changing players behavior. He even did it here with some players. He said that he'd like to get Adriano. He is not overweight, it was all media bullshit and photoshop work that came out. He has 86 kilos I think.
I think he could be back on the track and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the top 5 goalscorers next season.

Ranieri also talked rubbish about Menez, but it seems that it was only to benefit him. They had many fights but he started shining. There was another statement made by him (Claudio). He said that Del Piero, Totti, Cassano or Menez are worth of buying a ticket to a football match, to enjoy individuals.
Later on he said that he has a potential to be one of the best wingers in Italy, and I agree with that. I expect him to explode in the upcoming season.

As for their mercato. After Adrian, they could get Simplicio as well. He'll be a free agent and he's close to sign for them. It seems that they are saving money but I'm not happy about it. They might get Belhadj for some small amount of money but they'll have a stack to spend. It could easily be some right winger, as they are not offering Taddei a new contract (rightfully so). I'm afraid they are planning to bid for Sanchez. Even Ranieri praised him before.

I wouldn't be so sure. Menez is talented, but has a shitty attitude and is one of the worst divers I've ever seen.

Few things with Adriano. First is that he has been incredibly comfortable in Rio, and can do whatever he wants because of his status at Flamengo. It got so bad he was dropped from the Brazil squad after being a certain to go to South Africa for months because of his lack of professional attitude. He'd also have to get over the disappointment of losing his spot there, but that could turn to positivity because Brazil will have a new coach after the world cup so he could get into the team for the Copa América, but I doubt it.

Secondly, last season he was incredible for them (Flamengo) but he has declined a lot since then and has been wandering around looking lost in games, so he has been very up and down since going to Rio.

Oh and he's very unfit, doesn't matter how much he weighs, he certainly isn't close to being the same beast he was for Parma and Inter when he was younger. That's something he will have to work on more than anything else in pre season if he wants to stand a chance in the CL, because otherwise he's going to collapse. He has the talent so that doesn't matter.

It depends on his motivation to perform well again but I don't see him being a success like you do. I hope he is good because I really like him as a player. Do you have an example of Ranieri changing a players behaviour? I can only think of his disagreement with Trez and he didn't change anything there.
