No Higgy nor Dybala was saving this Argentina team from this annihilation but a half decent defence and most importantly a goalkeeper would have.

Higgy is brilliant most of the time, but he has these games occasionally where he miscontrols every touch and misplaces every pass.

Higgy had one of those games today.
He's a club player and should just stick to that. I know Argentines who hate him to extreme levels and I really don't blame them.

For La Albiceleste he's fucked up way too many times at crucial moments.

The ironic thing is that he misses that much because of the toxic environment and the fans and media giving him shiet. If he was loved regardless of the outcome and they sticked with him, he'd get over his mental block

So who do we reckon are the WC favs after these trial runs?

Spain, brazil and germany?
Yes, they more or less seem as the favorites atm, tho i'd also still woudn't rule out the likes of France or even a fully fit Argentina. So more or less i'd say there won't be many surprises, probably gonna be between them five.

------------

It could yet still change by than tho, i guess it will all depend a lot on injuries and form of some key players at the time when the tournament will start.

Yeah with Spain being the main contender, I see them as the more probable winner. Germany didn't impress me in both friendlies, but they're head and shoulder above the rest along with Brazil.

With that said, I still think Portugal will surprise again and go far and have an outside chance of winning it.

France is going to bottle it, they have a fucked mentality.

I'd be okay with Argentina winning it if Messi doesn't play and Dybala scoring, but that's fantasy. They're worse than in 2014 and Messi can't save them unless he does a Pelé

Hopefully Uruguay and Colombia makes it entertaining as well
