I actually saw more spirit and heart in Italy in this game. More shots on goal, better passing, better movement and a desire to win the ball back straight away. Granted, it was against fairly weak opposition, but that was a barely 2nd string Italian team as well.

I didn't get to watch this game, but Italy definitely isn't as shit as people on this forum try to make them out to be.

Most importantly it was with many rookies trying to stake a claim. Conte is clearly one of the best at getting a range of talent levels to play to a similar standard.

Pogba is still on.
There's pretty weird situation though, every time Digne has the ball the whole stadium is whistling, and they're playing in France :shifty: Anyone knows why's that?
They were in Marseille, which is quite different :D He is a PSG player.

But the French sure do love to protest.

I remember a similar situation in a WCQ qualifier a few years back (in Palermo)

Luca Toni had just been transferred from Palermo to Fiorentina and the fans were booing and whistling the shit out of him whenever he touched the ball :D

Italians and their lack of national identity/unity :touched:
