Portugal will be more will-bees than has beens after the next few months. It's not like Fernando Couto and Rui Costa are getting a lot of play time these days.

And I hear Ricardo Quaresma is being called up for this match, which would make an awesome pairing with Ronaldo on the wings. If this squad had more in attack than Pauleta or Nuno Gomes, they could be serious contenders (though I do like Helder Postiga in a bizarre way as a super sub).

well, Pauleta isn't half bad. He was the top scorer of the WC qualif in Euro zone.
Sergio Conceicao and Jorge Costa aren't selected I guess?

Jorge Costa has been plain horrible for Standard so far. To be honest it was one of those transfer that you can't possibly trust.

C Ronaldo was MOM ... and not just for his goals either. The guy showed serious pace and focus ... like he single-handedly was going to ensure that they won this thing. For all the dissing this guy takes, he was all business out there yesterday.
