I really hope for short term injury, we stuck with 4 man defence for forseeable future otherwise. Allegri wont play 3-5-2 without Bonucci IMO.

Exactly, and that sucks, because I cant stand the 4 man defence for most of the time now. This team has forgotten how to play anything else but 3-5-2 very well, and with more offensive wings in that setup its defenitely better then 4-4-2 ( straight up abomination) or a 4-3-3 where Cuadrado is more confused higher up and our attack out of synch . Bonucci is together with Marchisio and Dybala the least replaceable player around, or oughta be the least of since we litterally cant play 3-5-2 without him.

I agree but it is what it is. Without Bonucci (and Marchisio) the 352 will be worse than 4312/433. The good thing is we only play one game per week from now on because at this rate we will be playing youngsters as starters very soon.

Chiellini nears Juventus return
By Football Italia staff

Giorgio Chiellini returned to Juventus training today, but concern remains over Paulo Dybala, Claudio Marchisio and Andrea Barzagli.

Chiellini has been battling a calf injury, briefly returning for the win over Inter in February before breaking down again.

The Bianconeri’s official website has today confirmed that the centre-back returned to training with the rest of the squad at Vinovo.

However, Dybala, Marchisio and Barzagli - who are also carrying injuries - continued to work separately, putting them in doubt for the visit of Empoli on Saturday.

Sami Khedira and Alex Sandro were given a day of recovery as they are suspended for the Empoli game, while Mario Lemina and Juan Cuadrado are yet to return from international duty.

Earlier today it was announced that Leonardo Bonucci will face only three days out after an injury while on Italy duty.

Juventus sweat over injured trio
By Football Italia staff

Claudio Marchisio, Paulo Dybala and Andrea Barzagli missed Juventus training again today.

The trio are all carrying injuries, and have been following personalised recovery programs ahead of the visit of Empoli on Saturday.

While Giorgio Chiellini has retuned to the squad, Marchsio, Dybala and Barzagli again worked alone at Vinovo today.

Juan Cuadrado has returned from South America, but was given a day to rest after playing for Colombia against Ecuador on Tuesday night.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri will be without Alex Sandro and Leonardo Bonucci through suspension, while Martin Caceres is out for the season.
