whyshould next year gonna be any different from the last 5 ?
No, it should not be different from the last five.

However, the fact that you pretend it has been a negative period for DP or Juve just talks about how distorted and biased is becoming your perception about the matter.

I frankly observe that your arguments against DP have more stubborness than rationality. To deny that he is, in many aspects, a most valuable player for juve is just a pathetic attitude.....

.....oh yea, his wages......

There is any player in the team, more comercially productive than DP? had you checked the Japan tour? do you know how many shirts and comercial products DP has selled in this tour?

Japanese marketing companies:"DP is still the most marketing succesful italian player"....he is selling more than all the other juve players combined, thats a fact.....
So, please, dont even mention about his wages again....

BTW, your signature sounds like a monologue.....

Im playing down the talks of "we should respect DP for what he has done thus must never be sold".

He wasnt our star last season, of course he made contributions, Im happy that he has played better and more consistantly within a match. But I do think its time for other players to rise in our team and the past era to close.

And yes DP would make tons of money in Japan, I'd be extremely happy if(not likely) he will be sold to a Japanese team :D
I never told that Del Piero shouldn't be sold for the things he did for us,I think that he CAN DO a lot of good things for us ,so that's the main reason why we shouldn't talk about that.
And I don't like the comparasions but roma is in the heavy financial situation and their captain is still there no matter that they could get a large amount from totti's possible transfer, not to talk about his wages.

And you have only bad memories since then

Either you didn't watch Juve AT ALL or you consider players like maradona as average, or below YOUR average...dude!

If ya think that DP didn't show world class football since then, no more wasting time discussions is needed...

Did ya remmber Davids's miss at the en of the match ?
Did ya remmber that Mijatovic goal was a clear offside ?
Did ya remmber the two miss of Super Pipo within the penalty area ?
Did ya remmber the Iuliano miss from a corner next to nearly an empt net ?

I think ya only remmber that DP who lead us on his shoulders to the final didn't manage to have a great game in the final....

What a memorey.... what a selective memorey.....

Alex & Zambro staying at Juve Monday 6 June, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus have confirmed that Alessandro Del Piero and Gianluca Zambrotta will still be wearing the Bianconeri shirt next season.

Both men have been associated with exits but chief operating officer Antonio Giraudo has blocked their departures.

"It is our objective to build a strong and competitive squad, both on the domestic and international scene," he told Radio Anch`io lo Sport.

"I can say that Zambrotta and Del Piero, contrary to what is being said by some, will still be in our colours next season."

Del Piero has been linked with a sale given his uneasy relationship with boss Fabio Capello, who regularly substituted him in the last campaign.

His future has been cast into even more doubt as rumours persist that Juve want Antonio Cassano of Roma.

"Cassano is a great attacker who can make a difference to any team," added Giraudo. "But we have five international strikers which I think is more than enough."

Meanwhile, Zambrotta has been linked with Chelsea after emerging as one of the best left-backs in Europe.

"Do Chelsea want me? Nobody has told me anything," said the player himself. "I’m happy at Juventus and want to stay in an effort to win the Champions’ League.

"That will happen unless Juventus decide they don’t want me anymore."

You can always fail ,not to mention when you play against real at the final. We had a lot of chances then, but that was a bad luck.

I really can't understand anyone of you ,when Juve lose you blame Del Piero for that, and when we win you praise other players, even if we win thanx to Del Piero.
You are very subjektive.

Totti's performances on the pitch are still very good compared to DP (for the whole season).

I think he can still do a lot good things too, except in my view we can get somebody who can do more.

@eaglesnake_1 : I dont think he is our most valuable player although I do admit he is the most commerciable player on our team.

Von, Why would you want Dp to leave as long as he's giving the team and still doing good, why? Why would we get rid of him when we know he's still doing great and can help us to achieve even more....

And No, I don't believe it's his time, he's only 30, and If you think 30 is bit too old for a player, then am sorry.
I just dont see him as doing great :frown: , I see that he can still contribute alot to the team, and I am for selling him to bring in a new youngster but I wont be disappointed if he is not sold, Im not too strong about selling DP (purely coz his end season form and the idea that too much change after a pretty good season might bring us more trouble considering DP's fans and image in Juve) but the idea of refreshing the team and bringing in fresh players just sounds more prospective and seems like the better alternative.

Then you are a pampered, "good times" fan that has lived one of the most succesful era of the team (Del piero era) whinning and moaning without having a point of comparition with any Pre-Delpiero juve. You dont know any of Juve without DP stick in it....

and if you call bad memories what DP has achieved with Juve in the last eight years your sense of what a succesful football team is totally out of proportion.

You mean different from the 2001/02 season when he scored 16 goals and provided a dozen assists to trez & co? or the 2002/2003 when he was our best scorer by far? or last season when he practically handed us the scudetto?
Can't be no better!

In spitting maybe..Totti wasn't playing for a half of the season thanx to his bad behaviour. That player could help his team a lot but with such unbehaviour he showed, he is doing much more disservice than utility to his team.
