that's Garnett, right? I think he fingered C.Anthony around 1:15 in this game, way funny, but hardly a class act to bitch about the mans wife after abusing his butt hole :D
lol i saw that match, Garnett said that his wife tasted like honey nut cheerios (a popular cereal) Anthony later went to wait for KG at the team bus but i think it was more of a talk over. But i can't stand KG, he has a habit of rubbing people up the wrong way

Yes! It's great to see Ale celebrating like this. Great set-up for the winning goal, Sydney are out of the last place and are only 6 points away from 4th place. Next match is must win vs. Wellington.

Btw, Ale had a little fight with Abbas there. They kept talking about this in Fox. I wonder what was that about.

ADP was just trying to calm him down. He was just reminding him to be professional. Abbas was just angry because he was subbed so early. Nothing to worry about at all really.

Watching Ale celebrate like that almost brought a tear to my eye. Seeing him so frustrated lately has been really hard so this was awesome. And I don't even like Sydney...

Yeah, it was fantastic watching him celebrate. Sydney gets better and better, they just need a better striker, cause they know how to dominate a match.

Where are the other guys? Am I the only non-aussie left to watch Ale's matches?

Question.

Why the hell did he go there if it's so terrible. Was it his agents fault not scouting and seeing how poor is Sidney? Did he rush choosing the side? was the offer that good, maybe best he got? Or he wanted to move to Australia and liked Sidney as a destination?

I know the whole Backham and american league stuff, and he might wanted to emulate that in Australia, but doing with such a poor side is impossible.

Probably a combination of all those things you listed.

I think the lure of living in a beautiful city like Sydney, earning decent money and having fun with less pressure (than Europe) were all massive drawcards for him

The A League as a league is improving by leaps and bounds every season. The quality of teams is better, the crowds are better, TV/Media coverage has never been better and it's a lot more professional than it was 4-5 years ago.

Ale has had a big hand in a lot of these aspects, he's pretty much the marquee player for the entire league and not just SFC. It's just too bad for Ale on a personal/sporting level that SFC has gone backwards...at least he was happy after the win today.

If only he joined the real team in Sydney, Western Sydney Wanderers ;)
