can't even take you seriously anymore, welcome to my ignore list.

and you're $#@!ing belgian :howler:
I see you don't know I've lived in Italy and speak Italian fluently. I don't think I have ever met someone as deluded as you. What you're presenting here is very far from the Italian reality. Perhaps you decided in your mind you liked it better that way and that's just fine, but it's simply not true.

This is what you concluded? Agnelli is loved because they were all applauding Ale when he was subs?

Wasn't the whole stadium chanting for Del Piero when Agnelli took the microphone after the game? I'm not saying he's hated or loved (Scudetto saved his face pretty well) but he's not loved/appreciated for what he did towards Ale. Don't convince me.

Like Andries said, you don't live there and you don't even speak the language, I watch Al-Jazeera sport, they have been hosting Cesare Maldini, Altobelli and Juve's 20years+ ago famous goalkeeper Stefano Tacconi and what I hear from them and from Italian journalists is completely the opposite of what you two say.

Of course you wont see anyone ruining the Scudetto party day.
well the guys we watched it with told everyone to be quiet in order to listen to AA speech, in the end applauding him, i can't say that they hate AA :shifty:

rab that is not what i concluded I just saw they gave love to del piero. I just say I don't think they hate Agnelli as much as members here. But maybe I am wrong and I never said that the fans are happy del piero is out or agree with it. I just say I don't saw hate against agnelli at all. even though I had expect it.

Ofcourse we all where happy with the scudetto. But don't make the wrong conclusion with my words I just say to you what I saw and think. I don't say they love agnelli at any cost I just don't saw hate towards him.

but that was not exactly the point of my discussion my point was that I don't see them stop supporting juve next year like you are planning to do.

But you wouldn't know, because you don't understand them. Neither do you understand Agnelli. Face facts dude, you don't know what they're saying.

The euphoria of the scudetto and hopefully the Coppa Italia victory will wear off, and then you will start to see the true reactions in the press. From what relatives have told me, the only thing that Agnelli has bought himself right now is a little more time.

There will be questions in regards to the handling of this matter, and they will need to be answered.

Then again, it would seem that no matter what answer he gives, it won't be good enough for either side of this debate.

But he can start with the truth, and then we can take it from there. The truth is as good a starting point as any.

It's really difficult to say how Agnelli should have handled this. The main thing though is that it's simply not the way Ass Devil claims it is. Italian fans always criticise their team and are generally the first to attack their own board. What Ass Devil claims here is ridiculous and a figment of his imagination. And it bugs me, because he's using it as an argument for his own point of view.

My father has used every saint in the bible, some of whcih I think he just plain made up to serve his own purpose, when cursing out Napoli players and staff.

Yes, he's a Napoli fan. Nobody's perfect, but he's the only Dad I've got.

Italian football fans are the most vociferous and critical out there. They make English fans look like poodles. I

Exactly. This is what Italian fans do in general. And it's only because they care about their team so much that they get angry with them. It's the exact opposite of what Ass Devil claims.

My only problem with Agnelli that he announced that this Ale's last year in the middle of the season, it showed a bit of selfishness oh his part. Any proper classy general manager/president would have said that this will be discussed once the season over.

Andries, what is done, is done with Agnelli. The handling of the whole situation in announcing it early in the season is a topic of discussion that will go on for years. I am not concerned with that in the least.

What I am concerned with is how they came to the conlcusion that this was going to be Alex's last year. Why it was decided, was it a mutual agreement, and issues surrounding that decision are what interest me moreso than the timing of the announcement

isn't that what we do too at tuz.
Yes, we do. But Ass Devil claims this is a bad thing, which shows a lack of loyalty. This is simply not the case. If you're a player, you don't attack team mates or your manager in public. When you're a fan, you're entitled to get angry (within boundaries of course). You can whine, because you care.

That's because each one evaluates things differently.

Again, some would applaud him because Scudetto was won and it was a celebration day (doesn't say much though) and others wouldn't like myself because of Del Piero's exist. Actually, I don't think anyone was thinking of Agnelli when Ale was substituted, people were enjoying that moment.

If I am perfectly honest I think the main man behind all this was Antonio Conte. I'm not saying he is necessarily wrong. I think he is. I think Del Piero had another year left in him. And so do many others. I think Conte wanted Alex out, so that he could continue with a project. If Alex is there, it will alway be about Alex. We can't deny that. There are millions of people watching because of Alessandro Del Piero. When he's on the roster, it's about him. Which, for the past 19 years, has been perfectly fine. But there comes a time when Del Piero can't do it on his own anymore.

But in the end, everyone has to go at some point. Del Piero wanted to keep on playing for Juventus and that is why he is a champion, but that is also why at some point someone has to say they'll go on without him. Del Piero has done more than enough for this club. It rips my heart out to see him leave and I have thought about it pretty much every second since Sunday, but it's just the way things go.
