Think what you want, but Agnelli came and brough a new direction, which led us where we are today, and it seems he will lead us for some time in the future too.

And what's with this icon thing? He is a CEO, this thing about power struggle between an icon and CEO is hilarious, plus I bet him finished so many top business schools he would be able to pull of some sort of marketing trick to become a bit more liked without the need to kick DP out.

This is the only thing that puzzles me. As a CEO, he coudnt care less about del piero´s power. I mean he is the owner he can do whatever he wants... no need to demonstrate anything to anyone. Its because of that that im believing his decitions has been purely technical.

I dont want to sound like im backing him, but im trying to find a proper reason for this absurd treatment to a legend.

For me personally, seeing Ale extend his contract at Juve would be the biggest event of the season.

I know that I'll probably keep asking for 'just one more year' at the end of every season from now on. I probably should start living with the thought that Ale will leave one day and that day may well be very soon. But I can't help but imagine the feeling of seeing Ale putting pen to paper for another year. I think it would be an emotion even stronger than seeing Juve lift the Scudetto this year.

Maybe I should be ashamed of myself for valuing a player more than the team. Or maybe I should be ashamed of myself for calling Ale just 'a player'. I guess I am just getting more and more confused as the day is coming closer and closer. The day when I would see Ale in our loved black-and-white shirt for the last time. Without him, Juve would be so... different.

More than this, Delpiero saying goodbye and good game to his milan counterparts is even more fueling about his departure, because it came right form him.

I think they, including del piero, should at least make it clear before the game, like for example, today.... to let the fan know for sure and prepare things like banners or a great tribute to him from the stands who knows.

But when he finally says he will be gone on sunday´s match, everyone will be like "like damn i should have done that biggazz drawing i had planned for Del piero:frown:"

Champions, Heroes, Legends, they come and go, and God knows I have seen a bunch of them exit through that door, but my love for Juve will always be the same.

Even if there were instances where I didn't necessarily agree with how some Legends left.

I wouldnt want Del Piro to play for another European team, but if he were to come over here (MLS), then I would actually be happy. I would probably watch every one of his games and most probably got to the BMO Field when he plays Toronto

Of course it's a technical decision.

And even though the treatment is not the best, but to me it doesn't seem a very bad one? Del Piero wants to play, it's no secret, he have told it many times. So it's quite natural that he would leave in order to get more time, because with years he would get less and less here.

He said that he would like to finish his career in Juve and all that, I think it's not a complain just a clarifying the situation - he would like to finish here, but sadly the situations that he could only do that if he is just a small role player and I don't think he would want to finish his last years of football on the bench.

I'm almost sure that after some time we will see him in management, it will be a similar situation like the Nedved one.
