I don't give a fuck about what Marotta says, I don't want him to stay. This club treats him like shit for years now, don't forget that they made problem before they gave him new contracts for few times after the Calciopoli. Year after year. I'm just waiting for this season to end, I want to enjoy again, watching him on the pitch again instead of the bench. I watched him last night and I felt like killing Conte and the board (well, I feel this way all the time), it's so cruel that such a genius doesn't get to play, but Borriello starts.

When I said this months ago some were laughing at me.

I still insist it's a power games indeed and he wants to remove him because of his reputation.

When Agnelli took over last year, the first thing he did was complicate Del Piero's contract, it's when he got owned by Ale when he said "I'd even sign on a blank sheet and money isn't everything" referring that he could have moved somewhere with much more income into his pocket.

In Agnelli's 2nd year, the season has barely kicked-off and he made an announcement that this is Del Piero's last year.

That's 2years of Agnelli the jerk, my friends.
I think it's about Agnelli wanting to start a new cycle this summer, like when Del Piero arrived and Baggio left.

It's just my opinion.

I hope he takes u-turn though.

That is very possible. Ale himself may not even know what he wants to do. And if this is the case, everything else doesn't even matter at this point. I still think that if he wants to stay, a renewal will be given.
Marotta would have said that in his interview then. It was no harm in saying that, it wouldn't have suggested that Ale would certainly stay. What he said though shows they want him out especially when talking about Buffon in the exact opposite manner in the same interview. What confuses me however is why they shouldn't want to offer him another year contract.

I like how you guys think Marotta can say anything different.
He could just shut up about Buffon statement or he could rephrased it in a more diplomatic way!

Well Alex pushed Robi out of Juve. Now how is pushing Ale out?!

You're right, he can't. But I'm sure he can control and articulate how he says it. The last interview almost had an agenda with how brash he was in dismissing Ale's contract situation. He had no empathy towards the situation or a club legend. None of that required him to follow protocol. He just had to show some respect of his own accord.

How is this insult to a Juve fan still here? Competing for the scuddeto and wanting the couch that made it all happen be gone. Retardation at it's highest levels.

They want him out.

When Pluto says Buffon can stay as long as he wants, he just has to ask as for Del Piero the president made himself clear. What do you understand from this? "The president made himself clear" is different from The President AND Del Piero made themselves clear.

You say we don't know what's happening behind closed door, but it's Agnelli and Pluto drawing assumptions and pictures for us.
Did you read the entire, original interview? Ever thought about context? Could it be Tuttosport trying to stir some shit (wouldn't be the first time this season)?

:D

I sincerely hope he'll stay for another season. Just pissing off Del Piero Style would be reason enough.

That doesn't change the fact that what he said was a disaster.

I don't know but if he really sees it this way then he's fvcking idiot.

Look, to me, to me personally, to me Rabih Fawaz, to me myself, when Del Piero was the first one to commit to Juventus in 2006, the very first one to say he's remaining with the team be it B or Serie C and when Buffon said "When Del Piero decided to stay I couldn't leave, if a player like him is staying then I'm staying" this is something too big for me and to Juve fans let alone his achievements, his 20years, him being the most important player in Juventus history to majority etc, let alone all these him committing to Juve in Calciopoli as the first one alone deserves a life-long contract.

Well he was replying to questions from Tuttosport as far as I know. Marotta isn't going to go against what his president said, so I don't see the issue from his perspective. Because it was put next to 'Buffon can stay for life', it becomes an insult, but it's two different situations. Buffon has years left, Alex doesn't.

The only issue I see is the one between Agnelli and Del Piero, the position is no different. Some people will never get over the thought of Alex leaving, which is fair enough, but taking jumping to conclusions to an Olympic sporting level is another thing. I'm also not convinced that Del Piero's issue is even whether he stays at Juventus, but that he should have been the one to announce anything.

The first one to commit was actually Nedved, if memory serves. Not that it matters either way.

Even more I listened to what Al-Jazeera journalists and reporters had to say and comment about this and I'm 100% positive that the context was taken from Pluto's tongue.

It'll be very sad that we won't let a legend like him leave on his own terms. If it wasn't for the likes of Del Piero and Buffon, we wouldn't be where we are today. We were left to dead in Serie-B and they pulled us back with a shitty management.

But I don't understand the argument of Agnelli wanting to ship out Del Piero because of power and politics. How much power would he lose if he let Del Piero stay for another year? This club owes Del Piero a lot, and letting him leave on his own terms would repay only 10% of what he has done for us.

Does it matter who committed first? Fact is they all stayed and they deserve to be treated like unobtanium for that. Del Piero, no matter who wouodve left or stayed in 06 would've never left. Everyone knows it except Marrotta. He thinks Calciopoli struck when Naples got flooded.

Ok. You're forming an opinion (well, confirming your earlier opinion to be exact) based on what a foreign reporter takes out of a newspaper interview published in one the least reliable papers.
