What a shame. How on earth a humanbeing can be friends with marco materazzi , he is a fucking retard.

I adore Del Piero but I could adore much if he has a offensive and nasty attitude against inter and players of inter
Materazzi - very cool guy.

But yeah, Del Piero can hang out with anyone he wants and say whatever he wants (I like that he doesn't go into insulting other clubs, classy). Being a cunt on the field doesn't always make you a cunt off it.

just wonder- is there any chance that ale will comeback to the nazionale on saturday?

lippi will call 23 man squad to face switzerland (wendesday, basel) on saturday, and alex may be included. lippi said yesterday that if italy want to win the WC again it must count on the veterens.

after all, the other strikers didn't do well in the CC last june, and some of them are really in poor form (toni, for example, droped to bayern reserves). so i think a good performance by ale tommorow may push lippi to call him.

what do you think?

if Ale doesn't start then he should just tell 'em to fuck off...fuck a team where madarchods like Di Natale, Quagliarella and Toni are considered ahead of Ale

highly unlikely...I really hate to say this, but I think Ale's Azzurri days are over
Everything depends on the coming season imo. If he once again shines (really shines, like before the '08 tournament & not just a decent season like 08-09) Lippi will have no choice but to select him.

Back in 2008 it looked like Donadoni wasn't going to call him up either but, due to his stellar performances in the second part of the season and a lot of pressure from the press & the public opinion, he still made it.

His days as a sure starter for the NT are behind us though, as they have been for quite some time now.

i'm not sure about that...after all lippi knows ale great, and he said that he doesn't call him because he knows what he's capable of and want to try other players. i think that after the failure in the CC the experiments are about to end, and it's give ale hope (and cassano too, BTW).

i don't think he'll get the call this week, but if he'll repeat 2008 season this year, it's very likely that he'll be in the WC.

I dunno, didn't see any that much of Italy in the CC...I thought DDR would be playing a lot deeper than that...Lippi's trying to create the pairing of Rossi - Iaquinta/Gila, and I am sick of seeing Ale as the AMF

agree, i'm sick of that too, but with rossi as amf and ale as forward it will be good.

check out another option- totti as amf, dp and rossi in front.

(totti confirmed he's thinking about comeback)
