I am not disputing that he should be a starter next season, but I do mind him being a starter when he is 40 (if he plays until then), or even at 38-39. Players need to know when to let go, and allow others into the fold. He may still be giving us a lot by then, but someone else with more potential, and who may arguably be able to give more, may run the risk of being left out or overlooked (and no, I am not necessarily referring to Gio).
