yes certainly DP is no longer the worlds best player! those days are passed... But that dosent mean he is not good enough to make the bench againest Geogia!

Donadoni has really been a bit silly since taking the raines from Lippi he has been careless, this is not Livorno these are World Champions the team was not broken yet he was chopping and changing like a idiot and the players clearly dont know why, putting your weight around making sure u are there throwing players leaving them out for silly reasons is only going to get u in trouble the NT unsettled, restless, confuesed, he is still all at sea in what he wants to play , when Lippi done all the chopping and changing the players undestood and where well handled when he Donadoni is doing it no one understands why not very good at managing players and it is certainly starting to show! and history shows Managing your players in the NT is so big! cause u cant see them everyday but when u do see them u must make sure they understand and beleive in what ur doing cause clearly they dont!

i thought u were always defending the Don :D

anyway ur right. He should change his mentality and his methods. U cant just put a guy like Ale on the stands, with the justification of technical choices!
Donadoni needs to learn how to deal with the ppl on his squad.Remembering their status to the NT and to Italy.

Seriously, I'm wondering will It take Donadoni another Trapatoni or Crapello dealing with Dp??

Are we gonna need the Italy Vs Mexico (coming off the bench?) Are we going to need Dp qualifying Italy to Euro...:cough: Trap Euro 04 :cough: ??

Are we gonna need Ale proving Donadoni that he's worthless, just like he proved Crapello? Shall i name the games...nah, i can't bother.

Lot of shall we's...we'll see how Donadoni will do.

If you mean the word "fag", as I believe you to mean it, then why are you using it as an insult?

Especially on this particular thread where homoerotism runs rife through every page. Take a close look into the mirror my friend.

Please accept my apologies if I am wrong.
Do I know you? :groan:

Peace out, dawg...

No Del Piero rift, says Don

Italy boss Roberto Donadoni insists the decision to exclude Alex Del Piero from the Georgia match was purely tactical.

The Juventus captain was not even handed a place on the bench for Wednesday’s 3-1 win which fuelled speculation of a rift between the two men.

“I chose to leave Alex out for tactical reasons and for the bench I chose players who could complement one another in terms of the options they could offer,” said Donadoni.

“I respect Del Piero as he is a model professional and I can imagine he felt badly, but he will have other opportunities in the future – I am sure we will depend on him.

“No one in the national team has an assured spot in the starting line-up, this is the motto of my Italy and it’s the same for everyone.

“However, I know that when the excluded player has an important name like Del Piero, people will go crazy,” he added.

His predecessor Marcello Lippi is sure that the Azzurri can do well in the remaining qualifying matches that lie ahead.

“This group is still there to be won and I'm convinced that they will succeed,” said the Viareggino.

“As for Del Piero, it is quite normal that he didn’t enjoy being left out. He is an extraordinary player, for his behaviour and attitude, a person who is always positive for the team.

“I obviously wish he plays as much as possible, but I won't talk about the decisions taken by others.”

Somebody in JuventusMania.net translate the part about DP :
