I think DP will still be playing next season. Any other player would after such an insult gladly accept the offer from Milan but he is too classy for that. I see him in the MLS.

I don't think there are AA hard core fans, it's just that some of people here didn't want to jump to a conclusion too soon.

To me this is one more thing that shows that we are not going in the right way to get back to what this club was. Today it seems that it's not about football or the players who give their all to get those 3 points, but ather some shady backroom financial stuff that I couldn't care less about. And these kind of things takes more and more passion from my support of Juve.

I still cheer and screem when we score and I watch with exitment our games, but when there is no football involved like transfers, directors, managers and such I don't even care anymore. Now I just support the players who are playing on the pitch, since the rest of the club to me personaly is more and more disguisting.
We all know Ale, he would never ask someone else to announce his retirement. Anyone in their right mind would have known that there was something wrong; either Ale didn't know about this scenario at all or it was completely against his wish. There was no other possibility, still some decided to look for excuses. It's clearly disrespectful when you announce such thing without even letting the player know about it.

Good post overall

I have to agree that announcing like this with no words before with the player is extremlely disrespectuf, and I'm not talking about Ale here, but in general, because in DP situation it's unfincable actually if oyu think what he has done and what he means to the club and fans.

I wanted to wait to see how this really went, and from what I see I have nothing to be happy, but to be honest it doesn't surprise me at all that people at our club are capable of such feats.

What is really pleasent in this situation is to see how DP actually handels this situation, becuase that is why he is my favorite player of all time - Pure class.

I'll post this one again so the ones who thought AA talked with Ale before announcing Del Piero's last season with Juve.

“Usually these things are handled differently,” confessed Del Piero on Striscia La Notizia.

“Despite all this, there is no need to clarify anything with the President.

“Now I will focus only on the team, as there is time to think about my future. I have not made any decision yet.”

Del Piero was then asked if he was upset or had been disappointed by the announcement.

“A little bit.”

Del Piero deserves much much better. I'm not a Juve fan but this is disgusting.

100%.

I even thought he'd have more diplomatic (not that this one is not) response to AA but what happened affected him obviously.

Di Livio was spot on.
yap when you have followed dp for some time you know that he would find some diplomatic response... he is no totti or co....
i found it pretty sad.... even though some people will still find some excuses why AA did it.

Fucking disgrace. I'm sure Gianni is watching Andrea and he's ashamed.

And about Ale- he has so much class it's just not fair. He has like 90% of the class in the world, the rest of us just share the other 10%.

Can't wait to watch him tonignt. Conte better start him.
