You know me by now mate. I'm just throwing things up in the air. We signed Diego to operate behind the strikers not out on the left. I think it was Ciro telling Diego to move out wide. If he is doing that then Ciro might aswell drop Diego.

No. I think Del Piero will operate out on the left. I said I was annoyed about Diego being forced out wide on Sunday. I did not say I don't want Del Piero in the team because of this. I love Del Piero and I was jumping up and down like a little kid when he came on. I just rather he not be rushed back 60 minutes is enough for him. Diego will operate that central role eventually. I'm never against Del Piero starting because I'm not an idiot however he should be ready to start fitness wise that is.

I wouldn't start DP for this game, it is to important of a match to rely on a player returning from such a long term injury. Ferrara should play the usual 4-2-3-1 and give DP a second half appearance. If we win DP can start against Cagliari and Bayern

There is nothing more I would like to see is Diego and Del Piero tearing things up, Ciro just needs to find the correct formation and I'm sure everything will be fine. Del Piero and Diego it certainly is a match made in heaven.

I agree, with Ale we might be able to retry the 4-3-1-2 since Amauri played much better last season with DP next to him. DP will also draw some of the pressure off of Diego
